STI Clinics
The Stark County Health Department Nursing Services offers STI screenings daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment and on a walk-in basis as our schedule allows. The clinics are held at the department located at 7235 Whipple Ave. NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720. Those interested will enter Door 2 – Nursing Clinics along the south face of the building for stairs and elevator access.
The clinics offers screening for chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C, trichomonas and syphilis. If medication is necessary, patients can either pick them up at their local pharmacy or at the health department. The department accepts Ohio Medicaid plans and most private insurance plans. Nursing Services offers a sliding fee scale for payment of services with supporting documentation. Translation services will be provided for those who need it.
