The Administrative and Support Services team of the Stark County Health Department provides a variety of functions for the department including administrative support, financial management and health education and planning.

Financial Management 
The fiscal officer and accounts clerk provide services to maintain the fiscal health for the department. 

Health Education and Planning 

Health Education and Planning are a team of professionals that coordinate programs and services to improve or maintain individual, community, and population-based health.

The Director of Administration and Support Services works directly with the other Directors and the Health Commissioner on strategic initiatives. She is also the Public Information Officer for the Department. Her service area is responsible for facilitating essential services including the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for the county.

Health educators promote healthy lifestyles and educate people young and old to make informed decisions about their health. They present programs and promote policy, systems and environmental change in schools, workplaces and community settings. Our health educators work in areas including:
